Holding the Ropes Scholarship

Established in 2017, this annually funded scholarship was created to make Cedarville University an affordable option for children of full-time overseas missionaries. The grantors do not serve in overseas ministry, but see it as their role to support those who serve in overseas ministry. When William Carey went to the mission field, it was as if he said to his supporters "I will go down if you will hold the ropes." The grantors wish to hold the ropes for those who are on the foreign field by helping their children afford a quality Christian college education. Recipients must be the children of full-time missionaries living and serving in countries outside of the United States. Preference is given to children of missionaries serving in Bangladesh.
