L. Bert Frye Geology Award

Established in 2009 by John and Jamie Case Whitmore 04 in honor of Bert Frye, who taught in the Department of Science and Mathematics for 20 years, this annually funded one-time scholarship assists outstanding students who demonstrate exceptional skill in research and publication potential in the field of geology. Recipients must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in geology and have at least one semester remaining in their program of study. The Department of Science and Mathematics geology faculty selects the recipients.
