The John W. Bickett Heritage Alumni Award

Established in 1982 by the Heritage Alumni, this endowed one-time scholarship is named for the Rev. John Wilson Bickett, the first member of the first graduating class to receive diplomas from Cedarville College. Recipients must be full-time current junior (in special cases senior) students who are preparing for a pastoral or missionary vocation and are facing additional years of schooling after completing their undergraduate degree at the University. Recipients must demonstrate financial need, have a grade average of 2.5 or above, be active in extra-curricular activities, and demonstrate a desire to serve God by serving others. The Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving, the Director of Financial Aid, and the Dean of the School of Biblical and Theological Studies select the recipients.
