The Science and Faith Integration Scholarship

Established in 2015 by John and Abby Silvius as an annually funded scholarship in support of the heritage of quality scholarship of the Department of Science and Mathematics by promoting excellence in academic achievement by junior and senior students majoring in the biological and environmental sciences in the Department of Science and Mathematics. Each recipient must have a grade average of 3.3 or above. In addition to exemplary academic achievement in the classroom, the recipient demonstrates evidence of a commitment to science-faith integration through participation in opportunities such as scientific research, science-related travel study, or short-term mission. Candidates must complete the scholarship application and essay (see the link below for PDF application) if interested in the scholarship. The Department of Science and Mathematics faculty select each recipient.
