The Mendell Beattie Memorial Scholarship

Established in 2005 by the Heritage Alumni and Cedarville College athletes, this endowed scholarship was created to honor the life and career of their beloved Cedarville College coach, Mendell Beattie. Mr. Beattie served the Cedarville College student body with distinction from 1946 to 1951 as the Athletic Director, Football Coach, Basketball Coach, Baseball Coach, Track Coach, Professor of Physical Education and Dean of Men. Recipients must be freshman, sophomore, junior or senior students who are members of the men's Varsity Baseball or Basketball Team and must demonstrate financial need.
