Office: Repair Function

If one of your Office applications (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, or Word) starts malfunctioning, you might want to try the "repair" feature to see if that will fix the problem. After closing out of any Microsoft Office programs, try the following steps:
  1. Click [Start]  > Click "Control Panel."
  2. Click "Programs and Features" > Double-click "Add or Remove Programs."
  3. Select "Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016" (or "Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007" if you're using Office 2007") in the list of programs > Click [Change].
  4. Select the "Repair" box > Click [Continue].
  5. After the repair is complete, click [Close] > [Yes] to restart your system.
If this does not resolve the issue, or if you would rather the technicians do the repair, submit an online service request.
