Outlook: Compose a New Email

To create and send a new email in Microsoft Outlook

  1. Under the "Home" tab, click the "New Email" button in the upper right-hand corner of the ribbon.
  2. Enter the recipient's name in the "To..." line. If you do not know the email and need to search for it from an address book or the Cedarville directory, click on the "To..." button to access your address books. (For more information on finding contacts, see Find a Contact.)
  3. Enter the subject line and the text of your email.
  4. Click [Send].
