Windows: Create Desktop Shortcuts

Shortcuts are icons you use to quickly access files, folders, or programs from your desktop screen.

Note:

On a University computer, your desktop is not saved to your H: drive, so desktops are machine-specific. Adding a shortcut to the desktop on one computer will not make it show up on another computer.
