Getting Ready to Arrive
Pre-buying Residence Hall Room Supplies
Most international, MK, and TCK students bring their clothes and personal items and then take advantage of our shopping trips during orientation to purchase other necessities at Walmart. Students coming from a distance may wish to pre-order bedding items or other supplies to have ready for them when they arrive rather than waiting to get these items during the first shopping trip. The Walmart website provides a convenient way for you to purchase and ship residence hall supplies to Cedarville prior to your arrival. This site has been used by Cedarville students and is recommended.
If you choose to place an order, please address the box with the following:

Orientation
Cedarville offers three days of exciting, informational sessions and fun activities to help international, MK, and TCK students get oriented to the campus and University life. The advanced arrival gives students time to meet other students and acclimate to the campus, the support systems, and services.
Orientation sessions cover topics like academic adjustment and support, cultural adjustment, student employment and important details about maintaining visa status. Families are welcome to participate through the entire orientation experience and take advantage of the sessions specifically directed toward parents.
