Cedarville Magazine issue titled Called to Communicate.

We recently released our spring issue of Cedarville Magazine, and we'd like to share it with you. Published three times a year, Cedarville Magazine tells the story of Cedarville University and the people and programs that make us unique. In the current issue, “Called to Communicate,” you’ll learn about the people and the programs that make Cedarville’s Department of Communication so special. We’re preparing graduates with the tools to communicate effectively and boldly for Christ.

Get to know Cedarville in the pages of Cedarville Magazine. More than anything, we hope you'll see on every page that Cedarville stands firmly for the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus.

Made up of five courses — The Bible and the Gospel, Old Testament Literature, New Testament Literature, Theology I, and Theology II — the Bible minor stretches students to think about God, His Word, and His world in whole new ways and encourages them to apply Scripture to all areas of their lives.

Graduation Celebrates Transformed Lives

smiling graduatesOn May 7, Cedarville University celebrated the graduation of 924 new alumni, including those earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees.

More than just a number, these 924 students represent lives that were transformed by their time at Cedarville. Students who grew closer in their walk with the Lord from intentional mentoring, daily chapels, and biblical integration in their coursework. Students who were challenged by rigorous academics and prepared to succeed in their chosen field. Students who were in the same place as your student just four years ago, and are now ready to go out into the world and make a difference for Christ.

Be encouraged that your student, too, will experience amazing transformation at Cedarville, and you’ll be surprised at how fast the next four years will go! We will be praying for you and your student as you prepare for the transition to college life.

Beyond Roe v. Wade?

We are at a critical juncture in our nation’s history, as the Supreme Court considers a case that could overturn Roe v. Wade or greatly restrict abortion laws forever. As believers, we need to be prepared to speak biblical truth into this important issue with Christlike grace and compassion.

Cedarville University invites you to join us for "Beyond Roe v. Wade?," a three-part lecture series that will address this important topic.

  • Tuesday, March 22, 4 p.m. – "A Historical Perspective and Faith Response – Dr. Mark Caleb Smith
  • Tuesday, April 5 , 4 p.m. – "Christian Citizenship at a Crossroad" – Panel Discussion
  • Monday, April 18, 4:30 p.m. – "Caring for Women Facing a Crisis or Unwanted Pregnancy" – Panel Discussion

All events will be about an hour long and will take place in the Center for Biblical and Theological Studies (BTS) 104 or via livestream.

On Saturday, March 5, Cedarville will host the Teach Them Diligently live homeschool enrichment event. This one-day in-person and livestreamed event will take place in the Dixon Ministry Center and the Center for Biblical and Theological Studies from 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m.

Teach Them Diligently aims to help families fulfill the Great Commission by providing them with opportunities to unite around the Gospel and with resources that encourage, equip, and inspire them to bring up and educate their children as ambassadors for Christ.

Celebrating Record Enrollment, God's Working in Students' Lives!

The 2020–21 academic year is off to a great start! More than 1,000 freshmen and transfer students participated in Getting Started Weekend August 14–16, kicking off the academic year and their Cedarville experience (with plenty of COVID protocols in place!).
