One Thousand Days Transformed - The Campaign for Cedarville
  1. Search to discover your study abroad program of interest.
  2. Initiate an application from the "Application Process" tab of your program of interest.
  3. From your application, schedule a time to meet with the CU Study Abroad office to discuss potential programs and your academic goals.
  4. Complete your application.
  5. Set up a meeting with the CU Study Abroad office to go over paperwork included in the application:
  6. Pay $25 application fee, plus $175 commitment fee when prepared to continue.
  7. Meet with your academic advisor to plan courses.
  8. Discuss and submit your planned course list with the Study Abroad office for registration.
  9. Apply to your specific partner program (does not apply to faculty-led programs). Follow the instructions on your program's website to apply. Pay close attention to deadlines and due dates as they likely will differ from the deadlines and due dates set by the CU Study Abroad office.
  10. Apply for a passport and/or visa.
    • It may take 8 weeks to receive your passport. Plan to apply for yours no later than the beginning of the semester before you study abroad.
    • Some countries require a visa. If your country requires one, plan to apply for yours no later than the beginning of the semester before you study abroad.
  11.  Attend any required pre-departure meetings.
