One Thousand Days Transformed - The Campaign for Cedarville

Younkin-Felisha

Felisha Younkin, PhD

Assistant Professor of Psychology

Biography

Dr. Felisha Younkin joined the faculty at Cedarville in 2016 after working as a family therapist in the Eating Disorder Clinic at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and teaching adjunct at The Ohio State University. Her research interests are how people balance autonomy and relatedness in relationships and how parents can help their adolescents recover from eating disorders. She teaches writing and research courses to prepare students for graduate work. She loves learning more about God through His Word, and one of the verses that serves as the foundation for her work is Proverbs 24:3-4: “By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.”
