Service Opportunities

Community Ministries

Cedarville University students have many opportunities for service locally through community ministries. Social work students who minister in areas such as crisis pregnancy centers, jail ministries, special needs ministries, inner city youth, homeless shelters, and nursing homes, find their service not only an opportunity to serve the Savior, but also an enriching experience for their future profession.

Spring Break Mission Trips

Spring Break Trips provide an opportunity for the Cedarville University family to participate in ministry within the United States and overseas. Many of these trips are of particular interest and relevance to social work students as they provide hands-on experience working with orphans in Kosovo, AIDS victims in South Africa, children with a variety of physical, emotional, and psychological needs at Joy Ranch in Virginia, and urban youth in New York City or Chicago.
