by Natalia Kirychuk, Public Relations Writer

The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) has recognized Libby Howe, a regional business manager at Bayer HealthCare and 2002 Cedarville graduate, as one of the organization’s Rising Stars.

HBA honored Howe at its recent 28th Woman of the Year event in New York City.

More than 2,000 business leaders gathered for the event, which showcased the HBA’s commitment to the advancement and impact of women in the healthcare industry.
HBA Rising Stars are business professionals in the early stages of their careers, notable for their hard work and commitment to excellence. A Rising Star is a key player her company’s success.

Howe joined Bayer seven years ago to grow and develop women’s healthcare products throughout New England. She manages 10 Bayer sales representatives and was nominated by her manager and one of her direct reports.

“This recognition took me by complete surprise,” said Howe. “I am honored to be recognized among such remarkable women.”
