Denny Burk to Speak in Chapel April 19

Dr. Denny Burk, professor of biblical studies at Boyce College, the undergraduate school of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on April 19, 2017.

Since 2008, Burk has served on the faculty at Boyce College as the director of the Center for Gospel and Culture. He also currently serves as an associate pastor at Kenwood Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Louisiana Tech University, Burk received his master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and his doctorate from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Burk has had articles published in the Journal for the Study of the New Testament, Tyndale Bulletin, Bulletin for Biblical Research and the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society. He has authored several books, including “Transforming Homosexuality” and “What Is the Meaning of Sex?”
