Cedarville University's MBA in healthcare administration program was ranked as one of the top 50 online MBA programs in the nation for physicians by Great Value Colleges.
There were four colleges from Ohio listed with Cedarville in the national ranking. They include the University of Cincinnati, the University of Findlay, Ohio University and Walsh University. Great Value Colleges determined the ranking based on tuition, student-to-faculty ratio, the flexibility of the program, accreditations, the online student support network and the number of concentrations.
Cedarville’s MBA program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and contains concentrations in business analytics, cybersecurity management, healthcare administration, innovation and entrepreneurship and operations management.
To achieve an MBA in healthcare administration, students take classes that focus on healthcare systems, policy, ethics and quality management. “By learning about healthcare administration from a biblical worldview, students will learn how to apply the four pillars of our MBA program — excellence, missional purpose, stewardship and a servant’s heart — in that field,” explained Dr. John Delano, associate dean of the school of business administration graduate studies and associate professor of information technology management.

“What we need in the field of healthcare are administrators who are excellent at what they do, serve with a mission, carefully manage the resources that God has entrusted to them, but do it all with a service-oriented mindset,” he continued. “Our program will prepare students well to be those kinds of leaders.”
