Junior Jam draws hundreds of elementary students to Cedarville
Nearly 350 CU students will facilitate small groups, lead games, build relationships with visiting kids.
Cedarville University will welcome more than 800 students in third through sixth grade for the annual Junior Jam conference on Saturday, October 14.
Students will enjoy high-energy games and hands-on activities and worship led by Heartsong, Cedarville’s touring worship team.
This year’s theme is “God of Wonders,” based on Psalm 40:5. Jesse Joyner, a traveling one-man circus act from Richmond, Virginia, will use juggling and comedy to communicate biblical stories to the students.
“I want the students to know that only God is truly awesome and his works are wonderfully amazing,” said Joyner. “Our human talents are simply gifts from God to point people to God's awesome glory.”

“I’ve enjoyed Junior Jam and volunteer nearly every year because it is not only a fun experience, but it is also rewarding,” said Caroline Watson, a senior accounting major from West Liberty, Ohio. “It’s a great opportunity to impact kids for the kingdom of God.”
Youth leaders and parents are invited to attend several training workshops, which will be offered throughout the day.
