On-ramp to Career Starts at Spring Fair

The largest spring career fair in Greene County took place Wednesday, Feb. 21, in the Doden Field House at Cedarville University. The event, which was free of charge and open to the public, included a record-setting 202 businesses and organizations seeking opportunities to hire their future employees.

With 852 individuals seeking to get a jump start on their career aspirations, featured a heavy presence of high schools, including Dayton Christian Schools. This is the largest spring career fair in university history based on the number of employers and individuals who attend the event. 

“For those who attended the Cedarville career fair, they put themselves in a good position to gain more connections that can increase their ability to secure a job or internship,” said Cam Arminio, assistant director of career services. “Networking is an essential component in the job search process, so attending events like this career fair can give people a competitive advantage in the job search.”
