Doctor of Nursing Practice
An online DNP from Cedarville University will prepare you as an exceptional Christian nurse practitioner or nurse leader who will make a Gospel impact through nursing. Choosing from two pathways - BSN to DNP or MSN to DNP - with two program tracks — Nurse Practitioner or Leadership — you will be equipped to lead and collaborate as part of a complex medical team to improve patient and population outcomes.
The Nurse Practitioner track will equip you to sit for the national licensing test to become a family or pediatric nurse practitioner and provide care and improve health outcomes for diverse populations.
The Leadership track will equip you to serve in executive leadership positions within hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, and more.
Master of Science in Nursing
Choose from four focus areas to equip you for in-demand positions in a wide range of settings:
- The Family Nurse Practitioner area of focus will prepare you to provide primary care across the human lifespan.
- The Nurse Educator area of focus will prepare you to teach in healthcare or educational settings as a nurse educator, staff educator, clinical faculty, and continuing education providers.
- The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner area of focus will prepare you to provide primary care for individuals ages birth to 21.
- The Nursing Leadership in Healthcare Improvement area of focus will prepare you to effectively serve in nursing leadership as an administrator or manager.
Also offering an M.S.N.+M.B.A. dual degree program, which allows you to add a Master of Business Administration to your graduate nursing degree, equipping you for high-level administrative positions within hospitals, medical offices, and other care facilities.
