If you've been called to lead — or aspire to be a leader someday — Cedarville University's graduate Certificate in Leadership, offered by the Robert W. Plaster School of Business in collaboration with the School of Biblical and Theological Studies, will give you the professional preparation and leadership skills that will benefit any organization and make you stand out from the crowd.

With biblically faithful leadership curriculum, this four-course, fully online Certificate in Leadership will equip you to effectively lead and make a difference in nearly any organizational or ministry setting. You'll be prepared to serve with excellence in roles such as director, team leader, entrepreneur, or executive pastor.

The program is open to applicants with a bachelor's degree in any discipline. Cedarville undergraduate students may take the first two courses during their senior year and complete the final two following graduation. And, once you've completed the certificate, you can easily continue and earn a master's in Biblical Leadership or an MBA. You'll already be one-third of the way finished with your master's program!

Current graduate students, you can also complete the certificate and add a leadership focus to your existing program. It's a great way to add further value to your degree and increase your marketability.

Graduate Certificate in Leadership Highlights

Biblical — You will study leadership through the lens of Scripture, discovering what it means to lead with the mind of Christ.

Accelerated — You can complete the four Certificate courses (each course just seven weeks long) in as little as two semesters. The schedule is flexible for working professionals.

Convenient — The four courses are available fully online, allowing you to earn the certificate from anywhere in the world.

On-Ramp — The leadership certificate is an on-ramp to either your MBA or your master’s in Biblical Leadership. When your certificate is complete, you’ll have just eight more classes to complete to earn your graduate degree if you decide to go on to further study.

Program Start Dates — Applications are accepted throughout the year, and you can enroll and begin classes in August, October, January, March, or July.
