One Thousand Days Transformed - The Campaign for Cedarville

The Jazz Band has a membership of approximately 20–25 musicians, selected by audition. The lively group performs works that span from Big Band music to contemporary jazz standards, and its members are active in both campus and off-campus activities, performing a number of concerts each semester.

One of the most popular ensembles on campus, the ensemble was started in 1989 and has a storied history. Prestigious events such as the Elmhurst Jazz Festival and the Capital University Jazz Festival have welcomed the Cedarville Jazz Band. The group has also had the opportunity to travel to New York City, Chicago, and Memphis.
