Biography

A native Virginian, Summer moved to Ohio to attend Cedarville University, focusing on the intersection of history, theology, and the arts, before continuing her studies at the University of Oxford.  Since July 2026, Summer has served as the Humanities Librarian, continuing her interdisciplinary work in the humanities to serve both students and colleagues.

Why Cedarville

I never anticipated returning to Cedarville after I graduated. God directed my path back to the library, where I spent much time as a student, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in this role.
