As a chemistry education major, you will:

Program Curriculum

Building on a rich liberal arts foundation and a required Bible minor, your studies will bring together two core components:

  1. Chemistry Content: Explore the fascinating world of chemistry through engaging coursework and hands-on lab experiences that deepen your understanding of the physical universe.
  2. Teacher Preparation: Learn how to teach effectively through courses in educational psychology, assessment, instructional design, teaching strategies, diverse learners, and more.
Throughout the program, you’ll learn alongside supportive professors and peers while putting theory into practice through real classroom experiences. By graduation, you’ll be ready to step confidently into your own classroom.
