    Expert Topics

Being a family practitioner for over 20 years, I do not see myself as an 'expert' in any particular field of study. What I do have is an understanding of a wide range of topics. The areas of diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, asthma, and depression are of particular interest to me. My interest in counseling has led to further certification in biblical counseling through ACBC. Having taught in medical education full time off and on since 2016, I have an aptitude for small group sessions, simulation training, and physical exam skills sessions.

    Why Cedarville?

The testimony and reputation of Cedarville University is well known to me from living in the Columbus area for over 20 years. Some of my closest friends are graduates from Cedarville University. God's Word being the foundation for everything at Cedarville is of the utmost importance. Being able to teach medicine from a Christian worldview allows us to address both the 'inner man' and the 'outer man' in a truly holistic approach.
