Jeff Huston

Biography

Dr. Jeff Huston practiced community pharmacy for 11 years. He then accepted a position as Clinical Assistant Professor with The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, teaching in the professional practice laboratory series of courses. In December 2002, he added a role with The Ohio State University College of Medicine Division of Pharmacology, ultimately serving as Lead Pharmacist for the clinical trials unit. Serving the underserved with medical care has been a major theme throughout his career. He has led 25 medical mission trips to Honduras in coordination with World Gospel Mission, where student pharmacists provided quality healthcare to the poorest residents of Choluteca, Honduras. He has served at Cedarville University since 2010 and currently serves as Director of the Pharmacy Practice Laboratory and Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice. In January 2021, he was appointed by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine as a pharmacist board member on the State Board of Pharmacy.

Interests

Traveling to foreign countries with my family (37 countries visited), medical mission trips to Honduras (25+ trips), boating at Lake Cumberland, beach and water activities, and spending time with family.

God is orchestrating so many amazing things for Cedarville University School of Pharmacy. I feel very blessed to be a part of this great adventure of training students to use their faith and God-given talents to serve the healthcare needs of others, thus opening the door to minister to patients' spiritual needs.
