Jake Grasser, PharmD

Biography
Following pharmacy school, Dr. Grasser spent three years working in remote international hospitals focused on underserved patients and tropical diseases. During this time, he learned a lot about ways to interact with patients from different cultural backgrounds and patients living in conditions of extreme poverty. Dr. Grasser enjoys teaching about ways that pharmacists can make patients feel valued, understood, and heard.

Why Cedarville?
I desire to work at Cedarville because of the students. When I completed my undergraduate and graduate studies here at Cedarville, I had many questions about faith, life, marriage, etc., and it was incredibly helpful to have faculty and staff who wanted to come alongside me and disciple me through those conversations. The faculty were as willing to talk about life with me as they were to discuss pharmacy topics. Now that I am a faculty member, it is my delight and honor to walk alongside students as they also work through similar things.
