Vice President for Business & Chief Financial Officer

Biography

Chris Sohn serves as Vice President for Business and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

He began at Cedarville in 2012 after 16 years with General Electric (GE), where he last served as Finance Manager for Global Technology and Growth at GE Licensing. In that role, Sohn worked alongside four business units and managed a collective budget of $200 million. He came to the University with a proven track record of delivering results, improving processes, and successfully leading diverse teams.

As Vice President for Business and CFO, Sohn provides leadership in the area of financial management, having direct oversight of finance, operations, human resources, information technology, and legal services. He brings strategic financial planning guidance in ways that increase revenue, maximize cost savings, and encourage revenue growth for the long-term success of Cedarville University.
