Pastor Bob Rohm is the Vice President of the Christian Ministries Division at Cedarville University. He shared a message from Habakkuk 1:1-11. He said a device Satan uses to undermine our faith in God is the question of why some things have happened in history. He specifically cited the examples of the Holocaust, the Killing Fields of Cambodia, and the AIDS epidemic. One is left wondering how God allows these things to happen. Habakkuk also had the same struggle in his day with what he saw happening to the nation of Judah. We must realize that history is under divine control, it follows a divine plan, it follows a divine time-table, and ultimately is all about the Kingdom of God.
