Hope Darst

Hope Darst is known as a trusted and passionate worship leader who has a heart for the local church and writing songs that serve both corporate and personal worship. She has written powerful anthems such as the RIAA Certified Gold® single “Peace Be Still,” “Promise Keeper,” “If The Lord Builds The House,” and “Never Walk Alone.”

Most recently, Hope has gone back to her roots with the April 2025 release of a live worship album, In The Mighty Name. The complete live worship video experience is available on Hope's YouTube channel.

The 15-song collection embodies bold declarations along with tender moments and heartfelt cries of surrender that have already resonated with listeners around the world. With songs like the global breakout single “Mighty Name of Jesus,” “You Can,” “The Blood of Jesus,” and Hope’s version of “Give Me Jesus” (Upper Room), Hope lifts her voice in worship to invite us into a place where we will experience the power and presence of God.

In this new collection of songs, Hope stays true to her commitment to run to the Lord in worship in every season of her life as a follower of Jesus, a wife and mother, and a worship leader. These songs are filled with passion and vulnerability and invite the listener to participate in unique moments of corporate, personal, and spontaneous worship.

With her first live worship album, Hope says, “My prayer is that from the first track, people will feel invited into a moment of worshiping God. Whether you are a lifelong believer or someone seeking to know more about God, I believe these songs can meet you where you are and leave you with your eyes fixed on the Lord. I truly believe when we worship and sing songs that meditate on who God is, the truth of His Word, and the power of His promises, we are reminded that everything we need is found in the mighty name of Jesus.”

Originally from Kentucky, Hope currently lives in Nashville, Tennesee, with her husband, David, and two daughters.
