Celebrating 250 Years of Ludwig van Beethoven

Friday March 27, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.

On Friday, March 27, 2020, the Cedarville University Department of Music and Worship will present a mostly Beethoven concert commemorating the 250th anniversary of the legendary composer's birth. Works to be performed are Beethoven's Egmont Overture, Fantasy for Piano, Chorus and Orchestra, and Hallelujah from MOUNT OF OLIVES.

The concert will also include Gloria by contemporary British composer John Rutter. Entirely under the baton of guest conductor Jackson Leung from Wright State University, and featuring guest pianist Andrea Arese-Elias from the University of Dayton, the combined choirs and orchestra of Cedarville University will join forces for this MASTERWORKS CONCERT to be performed in the Jeremiah Chapel.
