Science and Math Preview Day 2023

Science and Math Preview Day will give you a great first-hand look at all that our Science and Math Department has to offer. You’ll spend the day interacting with faculty and students, participating in lab demonstrations, and learning more about Cedarville University. We look forward to seeing you on campus!

  • Who: All high school students interested in Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics and Physics. See list of majors and programs.

The Cedarville Admissions Department will provide each guest with one complimentary meal pass redeemable for either lunch or dinner.

  • 10:30 a.m.–11 a.m. – Campus Tours (depart every 15 minutes until 11 a.m.)
  • 11 a.m.–12 p.m. – Lunch in the Dining Hall*
  • 10 a.m.–12 p.m. – Visit the Cedarville University Campus Store
12:30 p.m.Introduction to Cedarville University and the Department of Science and Mathematics
1:30–2:15 p.m.‘Don’t Try This At Home’
An explosive demonstration using chemistry and physics
2:30 p.m.Lab Tours
3:30–4:30 p.m.Science and Mathematics Breakout Sessions
30 min. each, pick two: Geology, Biology, Physics/Astronomy, Mathematics
5:00 p.m.Dinner with Faculty and Students

*Each guest receives one meal pass to use for either lunch or dinner.
