Recolor Pictures and Clip Art with Microsoft Office

If you have a black and white picture in your document to which you would like to add color, or the color scheme of the picture or clip art you have chosen doesn't appeal to you, you can make changes easily following the instructions below.

Office 2016, 2013, and 2010

For a Picture or Clip Art

  1. Select the picture.
  2. Click the "Format" tab that appears.
  3. Click the "Color" option in the "Adjust" group.

  4. Select the desired setting from the "Recolor" group.

Office 2007

For a Picture or Clip Art

  1. Select the picture.
  2. Click the "Format" tab that will appear.
  3. Click the [Recolor] icon in the "Adjust" group and choose the desired setting.
