Dr. Trent Rogers outlines four practical strategies drawn from the textbook Habits of Grace and Dig Deeper: rake (read for breadth), dig (study for depth), meditate and memorize, and mark and read in community. Expect concrete examples — themed highlighting, phrasing and sentence diagramming, study tools (study Bibles, cross references, commentaries, Logos), and realistic memorization tips like note cards, audio, and varied passage selection. Emphasis is pastoral and practical — the goal is not just information but formation: to let the word of Christ dwell in you richly and to connect duty with delight.
