Bible and the Gospel | What Does the Bible Say About Itself?

In this Bible and the Gospel lecture, Dr. Trent Rogers explores what Scripture claims about itself — its divine inspiration, authority, reliability, and purpose. Drawing from Psalms, 2 Timothy 3, 2 Peter 1, and the teachings of Jesus, this session examines why the Bible is trustworthy, how it reveals God’s plan of salvation, and what it means to say that “all Scripture is God-breathed.” We also unpack Jesus’ own view of Scripture as authoritative, enduring, and Christ-centered, showing that a believer’s doctrine of the Bible should align with Christ’s doctrine of the Bible.
