Cedarville University marked a special moment with the topping off of the Bolthouse Academic Center, featuring a striking dome that stands more than 24 feet tall and weighs over 17,000 pounds.
More than just a building feature, the dome is designed to shine as a beacon — representing Cedarville’s commitment to the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ. Visible from State Road 42 and State Road 72, it reflects the University’s mission to prepare students to be light in a dark world.
The Bolthouse Academic Center will house programs in education, social work, history and government, psychology, English, literature, and modern languages. Inside, students will be equipped to serve as educators, counselors, social workers, and public servants who engage culture with Christ.
