Cedarville University is excited to introduce its Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, designed to equip students to meet critical needs both globally and locally. Building on a strong engineering tradition that began in 1990, the School of Engineering and Computer Science now serves more than 470 students across multiple majors. With 18% of incoming freshmen choosing engineering programs, Cedarville continues to grow as a destination for students pursuing technical excellence with a Christ-centered foundation.

This new civil engineering degree was developed in response to real-world demands. Cedarville faculty and students have long been engaged in global missions projects addressing challenges like clean drinking water, sewage systems, and off-grid electricity in developing countries. At the same time, aging infrastructure across the United States has created increasing demand for skilled civil engineers. This program prepares graduates to step into those opportunities with both technical expertise and a heart for service.
