This Synergy Initiative message presents a practical vision for helping Cedarville students engage in word ministry on campus, in local churches, and in everyday life. The talk outlines layered opportunities for gospel influence β preaching, teaching, evangelism, discipling, counseling, and hospitality β and urges students to move beyond passive social time toward intentional spiritual investment.
Using Romans 15, Colossians 3, and Titus 2, the Dr. Kimble highlights how ordinary believers can model, teach, remind, and encourage one another in faith. Students are challenged to identify one person to invest in each year, reinforce the Sunday sermon in conversations, pursue spiritual transformation over mere information, and join a local church for accountability and growth.
Practical ideas include asking intentional questions at meals, cultivating a spiritual workout plan, receiving people into your home or dorm space, and supporting churches through disciple making and church multiplication.
The Synergy Initiative aims to develop a campus culture where discipling and being discipled is normal and where students are sent out prepared to strengthen churches and share the gospel wherever God leads.
