How can college students use their careers to serve the church after graduation? Cedarville University's Synergy Initiative helps students explore church planting, develop a deeper love for the local church, and discover how their vocations can support ministry. In this video, Cedarville students Hannah Norfleet and Kenneth Lee share their experiences with the Synergy Initiative and how it has shaped their understanding of serving God beyond their future careers.

Through kickoff events, breakout sessions, and small group meetings, students connect with faculty, fellow students, and church planters who are actively serving communities. Hannah recalls hearing firsthand from Cam and Carissa Sardano about their church plant in Boston, an experience that helped her better understand the opportunities and challenges of church planting.

Kenneth explains how the Synergy Initiative encouraged him to consider God's calling beyond his professional career. Students also have opportunities to focus on specific cities, pray for the people living there, and grow in their excitement for the local church.

Whether students are interested in church planting, missions, or using their professional skills to serve their communities, the Synergy Initiative encourages them to see their vocations as opportunities for meaningful involvement in the local church after graduation.
