This Synergy Initiative message frames a simple but urgent vision: Cedarville students are being equipped to make their one life count by investing in discipleship, joining local churches, and working together to plant and revitalize healthy churches.
Dr. Jeremy Kimble shares personal stories from home churches and camps, describes the discouraging decline in church health across the country, and offers a hopeful path forward through intentional disciple making and strategic sending. Students are encouraged to join a church, engage in local outreach, consider GO trips, attend Synergy seminars and workshops, and leverage everyday contexts — jobs, neighborhoods, recreation — as opportunities to reach people with the Gospel.
The session emphasizes the power of synergy, the combined effort of students who go together to strengthen churches and multiply disciples in a wide range of contexts.
