Luke O’Brien is a 2025 graduate of the Cedarville University School of Pharmacy and is now completing a 2-year pharmacy informatics residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. In his role, Luke works with clinical systems, healthcare technology, and medication use workflows to help improve patient care.

He credits Cedarville with preparing him well for this opportunity, especially through his involvement with the Cedarville Center for Pharmacy Innovation. That experience helped him understand how technology and systems can support better medication use and patient outcomes. Luke also highlights Cedarville’s mission to train Christian pharmacists who serve God by serving others, noting how faith and professional preparation were integrated throughout his education.
