Cedarville University pharmacy graduate Casey Nelson shares how the School of Pharmacy prepared him for a PGY1 residency at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Casey first chose Cedarville because of its smaller class sizes and positive campus atmosphere, but he quickly discovered the depth of opportunities within the pharmacy program.
Through collaborative coursework and hands-on learning experiences, Casey developed the skills needed for multidisciplinary medical practice and patient-centered care. The program also offers leadership opportunities through pharmacy organizations, helping students grow professionally and serve alongside other future healthcare providers.
