Theology I: Natural Revelation (part 1)

Doctrine of Revelation — How God Makes Himself Known (creation, conscience, Scripture, Christ)
https://www.cedarville.edu/admissions

In this lecture we work through the doctrine of revelation — why God is knowable, how he reveals himself, and what that means for Christian witness in a changing culture. Dr. White contrasts natural (general) revelation shown in creation and conscience with special revelation found in Scripture and in Christ. Key biblical texts examined include Psalm 19, Romans 1–2, and Job 38. Historical voices discussed are Thomas Aquinas, Martin Luther, John Calvin, and Carl F. H. Henry. The talk emphasizes the limits of natural theology, the reality of cultural drift, and the necessity of the gospel for salvation.
