Students can choose from two degree options. The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology provides broad, rigorous preparation in zoology, plant sciences, premedical, and pre-health professions. With added depth in chemistry, physics, and calculus, the BS prepares you for competitive graduate programs and scientific careers. If you love diving deep into the biological sciences, this is the program for you.
The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biology offers greater flexibility, allowing you to customize your degree with minors, double majors, or specialized emphases. Many students combine the BA with areas such as chemistry, life science education, psychology, Spanish, or environmental biology. This option is ideal if you want a strong biology foundation while tailoring your studies to specific career goals.
