Dr. Jedidiah Coppenger is the lead pastor of Redemption City Church, a church plant in Franklin, Tennessee. He will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on Tuesday, February 11. Chapel begins at 10 a.m. and is open to the public.
Coppenger earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration from North Greenville University, his Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and his Ph.D. in systematic theology from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Although he grew up in a Christian home, he did not become a Christian until age 20, while attending North Greenville University.
He has served in a number of pastoral roles over the past 13 years, both in the United States and around the world. He has also contributed to and edited two books, “Retreat or Risk: A Call for a Great Commission Resurgence” and “Theology and Practice of Mission: God, the Church and the Nations.”
Coppenger is married to Melanie and they have three kids: Josiah, Susannah and Judah.
