Chemistry is at the core of human life. There’s the complex chemistry of the human body. There’s team chemistry in organizations and sports. Romantic chemistry is a part of dating and marriage. For Dr. Justin Coby, chemistry is a big reason he currently serves as Director of Cedar Care Village Pharmacy.
Engineering was one possibility for Justin when he was an undergraduate, but then his college professors mentioned chemistry as a direction he might take. That sounded right to Justin since chemistry had been a favorite subject in school. That love for chemistry now has him influencing the next generation of Christian pharmacists.
Coby comes to Cedarville with almost 20 years of experience in corporate and independent pharmacies, as well as leading the Health Partners Free Clinic in Troy, Ohio. The chance to combine an entrepreneurial approach with a robust faith was a big draw to his new role at Cedar Care. In a way, you could say it was chemistry that brought Justin and Cedarville together.
"Christ’s name is proclaimed in everything we do,” he shared with Cedarville public relations earlier this year. “I love the fact that Cedarville leads with faith.”
