One Thousand Days Transformed - The Campaign for Cedarville

by Allison Craft, Student Public Relations Writer

The mysteries of the spiritual realm often remain unanswered, but one Cedarville University professor dedicates time to answering questions concerning the intriguing topic of angels and demons.

In his recent publication, “Angels and Demons: What the Bible Says About Spiritual Creatures,” Dr. John Gilhooly, professor of philosophy and theology and a self-described angelologist, delves into how the Bible describes the spiritual realm.

“We’ve got to let the Bible interpret the Bible, and we also have to let the Bible tell us how to understand reality,” said Gilhooly. “It is our guide, through the Holy Spirit, for understanding the nature of the world. The Bible alone presents the world as it truly is.”

Dr. John Gilhooly, professor at Cedarville UniversityThe intrigue of angels and demons leaves many people looking for answers in the wrong places and worrying about things that are unnecessary. Gilhooly assures readers that what the Bible focuses on is what they should focus on, and that is Jesus.

Gilhooly’s book assists people with a biblical understanding of angels and demons. Through Gilhooly’s expert knowledge on angelology, readers can understand the mysteries of the spiritual realm and learn how to approach its concepts while remembering to concentrate on Jesus.
