Cedarville University will welcome acclaimed worship leader and songwriter Hope Darst for a free public concert on Thursday, March 26, at 7 p.m. in the Dixon Ministry Center chapel. The Cedarville University concert is open to the public. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Worship Anthems and New Album
Darst, known for passionate and heartfelt worship anthems—including the RIAA Certified Gold™ single “Peace Be Still” as well as Promise Keeper, If The Lord Builds The House and Never Walk Alone—will bring an evening of corporate worship to campus. Her appearance comes ahead of the April 2026 release of her live album, In The Mighty Name, a 15-song collection that blends bold declarations of faith with vulnerable expressions of surrender.
Songs such as “Mighty Name of Jesus,” “You Can,” “The Blood of Jesus” and Darst’s rendition of “Give Me Jesus (Upper Room)” have resonated with audiences around the world. Through these offerings, Darst invites listeners to experience the power and presence of God in both personal and corporate worship.
“My prayer is that from the first track, people feel invited into a moment of worship,” Darst has said about her new project. “Whether you’re a lifelong believer or someone seeking to know more about God, I believe these songs can meet you where you are and leave you with your eyes fixed on the Lord.”
Darst, a Nashville-based worship leader originally from Kentucky, is recognized for her authenticity, passion and commitment to helping people encounter Jesus through song.
