Mike Shepherd, Ph.D.
Associate Professor of Biblical Studies
Dr. Shepherd previously taught Old Testament and Hebrew at Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana, for nine years (2006-2015). He has published seven academic monographs and more than a dozen peer-reviewed journal articles, essays, and book chapters in his field. He is currently working on a commentary on the book of Jeremiah for the Kregel Exegetical Library series.

Why I'm at Cedarville: Cedarville's commitment to the Scriptures makes for a good fit with evangelical biblical scholarship. There is great potential here for the building of programs devoted to biblical language and exegesis. I greatly enjoy the relationships that I have here with other faculty in the School of Biblical and Theological Studies.
