The Cedarville University School of Business Administration seeks faculty applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of Management Science. The Assistant/Associate Professor of Management Science will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, providing support for the Master of Business Administration program.  The program will require a normal 4/4 teaching load.

Cedarville University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Library Science to serve as a Health Sciences Librarian.  This position is a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track position within the University’s Centennial Library reporting to the Director of Library Public Services. Possessing a health sciences education along with a library degree, the Health Sciences Librarian will contribute to the development and delivery of library instruction services, research and information services, and individual research assistance, with special focus on undergraduate and graduate nursing, pharmacy, kinesiology and allied health, psychology, and social work students and faculty. 

The Health Sciences Librarian will provide expert and innovative research support to students and faculty in the health sciences programs and will work with faculty to deliver an effective information literacy instruction strategy. He or she will also seek to implement partnerships with the health sciences programs. Working collaboratively as part of the library’s research team, the Health Sciences Librarian will help deliver research support services to all students and will assist with the effective implementation of innovative library technology, online tools, and digital services.

Teaching Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Contemporary music theory and aural skills,
  • Contemporary guitar, piano, or voice lessons;
  • Courses in worship technology;
  • Coaching worship bands;

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Making significant contributions to the development of the worship program by joining the strong team of worship faculty;

Position Description:

The Engineering Lab Technician (ELT) supports the instructional mission of the School of Engineering and Computer Science by maintaining the mechanical aspects of the laboratories and specialized equipment in those laboratories. The ELT assists faculty with laboratory equipment development. The ELT also assists students with the fabrication of components for their laboratories and projects, in addition to specifying equipment for purchase. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing safety and security policies for the engineering laboratories, in addition to providing training for machines and hand tool use. The ELT also assists with the annual Cardboard Canoe Race, Statics & Dynamics class competitions, and supports University Maintenance by fabricating and repairing university equipment.
