Position Description:

The Cedarville University School of Pharmacy Department of Pharmacy Practice is seeking qualified candidates to fill four open positions. Candidates should have an interest and expertise in ambulatory care, medication therapy management, and acute/critical care settings in the Dayton, Springfield, and Columbus areas. The positions are full-time, clinical/tenure-track positions at the rank of assistant or associate professor.

Primary responsibilities include didactic and experiential teaching, clinical and instructional scholarship, and service to the department, school, university and the profession. Didactic teaching responsibility would be dependent on the candidates' interests and expertise. As a faculty member, the candidates will also maintain a clinical practice with primary responsibilities including: managing clinical services, supervising PharmD Residents/Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience PharmD students, and developing and executing novel clinical programs. All Cedarville University School of Pharmacy faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. Opportunities also exist for partnering with Cedarville University School of Nursing and Wright State University School of Medicine.

The ideal candidates should have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, residency or fellowship training (or equivalent experience), and be eligible for licensure in the state of Ohio; board certification is highly desirable. Maintain and repair water related equipment such as disposals, the dish machine, and water softeners. 

Position Responsibilities:  

  • Repair disabled pipes and equipment
  • Preventive maintenance on pipes and equipment
  • Analyze water for treatment
  • Prepare water operators logs and EPA reports

Position Requirements:

  • Associate degree or completion of a technical specialty program (18 to 36 months)
  • At least three years’ experience working with an experienced plumber or as a lead plumber
  • Within 18 months must obtain Ohio DOT or OEPA certification in Backflow Prevention testing
  • Within 4 years must obtain Level 1 Water Plant Operator license
  • Must possess valid Ohio driver license 
  • Must possess adequate hand tools equal to responsibility

Position Description:

The Department of Music and Worship invites applications for dynamic and creative vocal and instrumental private lesson instructors. 

Positions are subject to Cedarville University policies, verification of credentials and other information required by law. Position Requirements:

  • Master’s degree preferred, in a field related to the job responsibilities
  • Five years of private studio teaching preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent musicianship
  • Record of successful college-level teaching
