Masterworks ConcertCedarville University’s 30th annual Masterworks Concert will commemorate the 250th birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven on Friday, March 27, from 7-9:30 p.m. in the Jeremiah Chapel of the Dixon Ministry Center.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students and senior citizens (age 65 and older). There is no cost for children under 12. Tickets are available online or at the door, starting at 6:30 p.m.

The musicians will perform selections from Beethoven’s music, including his “Egmont Overture,” “Fantasy for Piano, Chorus and Orchestra” and “Hallelujah” from Mount of Olives.

“This event is especially noteworthy because it highlights the combined efforts of Cedarville University choral and instrumental ensembles, faculty and student soloists,” noted Dr. Lyle Anderson, senior professor of music at Cedarville University.
